Finding and Following Your Life Purpose and Passion (Part 3)

How To Know If You’re Living Your Life On Purpose With Passion – 11 Key Tell-Tale Signs

You've Just Got to SO-OOOO Love What You Do !!!...

What are the signs that you're on the right track and on the way to, or actually already living your life with true purpose, real meaning and passion, and fulfilling your true potential? You'll know when –

1. You're totally obsessed with what you're doing – time just flies by and you're on a 'high' when you're doing your 'thing' you love. To you it's not 'work' at all because you're enjoying every moment an spending your time doing exactly what excites and makes you happy. It's what gets you 'springing' out of bed in the morning, and when you're away from it, you can't wait to get back to it …

2. You're totally hyper focused and in a trance-like state when you're doing what you love. You feel like you've been transported elsewhere, and your immunity to distraction is on 'high'. Often you may not hear people around you speaking to you, and only realize when you find yourself being roused and brought back to the sound of words "Are you listening to me? Hey, did you hear what I just said?"...

3. You've got a strong underlying Belief, all the while, that this IS definitely what you're meant to do …

4. You keep a strong clear Vision afloat all the time of where you want to get to - even when you're dog tired and exhausted, events and circumstances aren't flowing, things seem to not be going your way, and people are against you ...

5. You just keep going when the going gets tough, an keep getting up and on with it …

6. You surprise even yourself at your unfailing persistence to keep going and you feel propelled by this inner life force that is driving you ...

7. Despite the hurdles, trials, tribulations and frustrations, you look back with a smile and know that you've really enjoyed the experience anyway. You know deep down inside that you're going somewhere worthwhile and what you're doing has meaning and purpose ...

8. Things just seem to fall into place easily and just happen 'serendipitously' - people appear, telephone calls come, offers of support and guidance present, new relevant resources are introduced to you. You stop for a moment and you're in the right mindset to see the flow of what's happening and you smile and muse with sincere pleasing satisfaction …

9. You see that what you do makes a real difference in the lives of others beyond what you imagined. You give real value. Their feedback says it all and you're constantly amazed with great humility …

10. Sometimes you have a clear vision of what you want, but the pathway there isn't always clear. As chapters unfold and phases roll out and define themselves, ones you didn't even expect, you stay open to guidance …

This one is a bit tougher –

11. Even if your passion or purpose is a bit off the acceptable 'mainstream' track and you're not sure exactly where you'll end up, you go for it anyway with perseverance and patience. Even if you don't know exactly where your hunches and intuitions are leading, you trust and you're never disappointed with the outcomes and where you find yourself going. You're fascinated by the journey and your faith seems to balance out the odds even when it seems you're going against all the odds.

I came across this great quote recently –
"If you follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in your field of bliss, and they open doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be." (Joseph Campbell)

Doesn't it make sense that if you LOVE what you're doing, you'll do it more often, more easily, and keep getting better at it? When you do so, the value you give to others will grow amazingly and exponentially.

In a business context, your perceived value to your customers, clients or subscribers will increase naturally.

So the key is to start doing what you love now. Take action! Make yourself immune to distraction! Get on track and be committed …

Sure, it might not result in a successful or even million dollar business overnight, but over the course of time, it's entirely possible, and it's happening all the time. If others can do it, so can you!

There will be nothing more satisfying than turning your calling, purpose and passion into a rewarding and prosperous business or career venture that you love doing, every single day, and to live the life you were meant to live.

Finding and Following Your Life Purpose and Passion (Part 2)

How To Determine What Your Life Purpose Really Is –
3 Guiding Steps To Help You Get Clear

Doing What You Love Springs From and Goes Hand-in-Hand With Following Your Life Purpose

So, What is Life Purpose? Why is it So Important?

It's feeling that there's real meaning to your Life and a reason for what you do. It's having clear direction and a driving force flowing, even bursting out from you, leaving you in no doubt about your value and how best you contribute. When it just flows effortlessly, or even rushes out, that's a clear sign, and then you'll just know …

It gives you a foundation for knowing your reason for 'being' rather than just what you're 'doing'. The difference between Human 'Being' and Human 'Doing'. You'll know and feel that your internal compass is directing you, coming from a higher consciousness source.

It's the difference between your answer to the question – Who are you? - as opposed to - What do you do (for a living)?

How Do You Determine Your Life Purpose?

Discovering your Life Purpose is part of your own individual journey.

How do you know? How do you get clear? It's a very individual path. Some of you will just know and some of you will need to go through a process to find your way to get clear.

Here are some steps you can take -

1. Consider What is 'Uniquely' You and What You Offer

Find a quiet place for yourself where you can reflect peacefully without distractions or interruptions. Put yourself in a relaxed state. Do some deep breathing to relax yourself and fix your eye on an object or spot in a trance-like fashion, or close your eyes if you wish. You may like to use meditation if you're comfortable with this.

Place yourself in a state of mind focused on your purpose – one in which you feel inspired, directed, significant, with a vision ad 'purposeful' - and focus on asking what your purpose might be.

Ask yourself – What are my gifts? What are my talents? What do I do easily and naturally? What do people feedback to me that I'm really good at doing? What do I find meaningful? What do I think I'm here to do? What is my purpose? Listen to the answers that come up from within you.

2. Consider Further - How Do You Help Others?

When you help others, how do you do it? What effect does it have on others? Do you help others discover their own truth?

3. Write Down Your Life Purpose

Set aside time to write down a clearly crafted Life Purpose statement for yourself – one that resonates and has meaning for you. Put it before you in a place(s) where you'll see it often.

The 'Power' of a Clearly Defined Life Purpose

As Dr Wayne Dyer says - When you shift into a 'purposeful' state of mind, then all you need in the way of personality characteristics will naturally surface.

What this means is that when you're doing what you love and living on purpose, giving of yourself in a joyful way, your personality will reflect that bliss and all it involves.

This will not require struggle or detailed written goals and action plans. You will not require intelligence, skills or confidence from outside of yourself because you'll find these qualities already exist within you.

Your ability to manifest the necessary talent, intellect and mobilize changes in yourself to fulfill your purpose will already be intact.

Knowing Your Purpose Helps You Live With Integrity and In Alignment With Your Life Purpose

For instance, I know my Life Purpose is Life Enhancement - to teach and guide people how to improve their lives, from my own learning experiences, by example.

How did I arrive at my purpose? By learning unconditional Self Love first, being true to myself, discovering my authenticity, and my unique way to achieving a self-determining life doing my own thing, finding and following my own passion.

I had to learn these things first before teaching others. If I'm to show other people to be truthful with themselves, I had to be truthful with myself.

Learn Self Love first and everything will take care of itself ...

When you're inspired by a greater Life Purpose things just start to fall into place for you in your life. Knowing your Life Purpose on a 'big picture' level really helps you know how you relate to your life as a whole. Life Purpose serves as a focus around which to arrange, orient and direct your life.

Finding and Following Your Life Purpose and Passion (Part 1)

How To Achieve a Life that You’re Passionate About By Doing What You Love To Do

We all have a definite purpose in our lives, a key part of which is living a life of joy and abundance. It’s also about doing what we love to do and fulfilling our highest natural potential.

Some call it ‘career’, some call it ‘vocation’, others call it following your ‘calling’ – doing something that you’re perfectly naturally suited to do, and fulfilling your life purpose in being here.

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying – ‘Do What You Love and the Success Will Follow’. I can hear you saying – yeah well, its not always that easy! Yes, sure, I agree – it’s not always that easy. But why not? This is a complex question. Let’s explore this a bit further in this posting –

Some people find their way easily and naturally early in their lives and live a passionate life on purpose. Others find their way and make changes years later, or in mid life. Yet the majority struggle and never do ...

So, why does this elude so many people who think they’re on the right track, in a good ‘job’, earn reasonable money, sometimes even great $s, yet still something is lacking, still they’re not happy or fulfilled, still there’s a yearning for something else, something more?

They wonder if there's any purpose or meaning in their life. They find themselves just existing from day-to-day, operating on autopilot, or by default, dreading getting out of bed in the morning, and trudging and dragging their way to their 9-5 job ('job' = 'just over broke'), or these days more likely to be an 8-8 job ...

Many know they’re stuck in the wrong career or in an unfulfilling job, and say they will get around to fixing and changing that some day, when the time is right, when they get a chance …

Yes, for many, ‘Life gets in the way’ ... The mortgage and bills have to be paid, family to take care of, school fees, other life responsibilities, climbing the corporate ladder as society expects … and so it goes on ... and life goes by ...

Yes it’s a complex issue ...

OK, so - How can you achieve a Life that you love and enjoy by doing what you love to do? How can you do this?

It takes major soul searching and the courage, and the ‘guts’ to give it a go ....

For the next few minutes – set aside some time for yourself to explore the following questions below. For that time, answer honestly from your heart ... Put aside any limiting thoughts ... Think big ... Indulge yourself ... Don’t edit or sensor yourself ... Most importantly, have fun with this exercise. And, write down your thoughts - grab a piece of paper, or jot on your computer.

Ask yourself –

* What do you really love doing?
* What are your hobbies? (not always the same thing as previous question, so differentiate them)
* What are your ‘big picture’ dreams and goals that you have and would love to achieve?
* What would you really like to do if you absolutely knew you would not fail?
* Take this a step further, if money wasn’t an issue at all, what would you do or like to achieve?

* What do you think about when you get a private moment to yourself?
* Have you ever fantasized or wished you could spend more time at your hobby than at your job?
* What dreams did you have in childhood? Have you lost touch with or forgotten dreams and goals you had in childhood or earlier in your life? What are they?
* What interests, desires or passions do you have that you keep inside and do not tell others?

* Have you dreamt about ‘working for yourself’, starting your own business, perhaps home business?
* Have you actually tried setting up a business or home business before and failed?
* What things do you do really well and give away to friends – perhaps gourmet goodies, paintings, arts and crafts, floral arrangements, party and event planning, pet treats, plant cuttings or propagation, woodwork items, other hobby items …

The answers to these questions will give you the clues to your passions, or the career or business for you to consider pursuing –

If you’re passionate enough, love it enough, are fuelled enough, and have a raging ‘fire in your belly’ enough … You’ll find a way to DO IT … That’s what it takes …

Find your LOVE and PASSION and pursue it and you will find success. Yes, it will be difficult starting out. That’s the way it is in any business. Let me ask you - do you know of any business that hasn’t taken time, commitment and perserverance to build? It doesn’t happen overnight. (Please avoid getting hooked into ‘get rich quick’ biz opp schemes – most of them are just scams).

If your business is also your passion, YOU WILL find a way to do it, and YOU WILL make it through and won't quit when the going gets tough, because you LOVE it. Once you make up your mind that it’s what you want to do, then JUST GO and DO IT!

To Your Success!
